Our longest tenured Director, Emily Mobley, “Emster” to some, is as easy going and relatable as they come. Since joining the team in 2012, she has been exposed to a cross-section of clients and projects, which have expanded her knowledge and given her opportunities she would have never received working in a corporate HR structure. Believe her, she tried it. After trying to conform to the corporate world for over 10 years, she had to make a break and we are glad she found us. Her quirky sense of humor, Bohemian style, and sincere approach makes clients and employees feel immediately at ease. She loves working with a variety of people and industries to allow her personal growth and to provide new challenges and research opportunities. This varied experience within industries that run the gamut have cultivated an incredible gift for reading and understanding people. It’s eeery, really.
While not working, Emily loves beer, and if you talk to her for more than 10 minutes you will know that she doesn’t just love beer, she loves the passion of the entrepreneur that takes a risk to make beer for their community. She relays this passion into what she does every day to ensure that the relationships with her clients are just like those that she has with brewery owners, up front and sharing their love for what they do. She also has an awesome husband who loves beer and a really cool Labrador, Sasha Kahn. And if you can’t tell by the name, she also is a KU fan!
